Property requirements

Chocoberry seeks prominent storefront locations with an approximate floor area of 1,500 sq ft. Preferred property types include high street premises, shopping centres and retail parks, with kiosk opportunities also considered. The brand offers flexible formats to suit different retail environments, from traditional cafés to compact kiosks. Prospective franchisees should identify suitable commercial premises that accommodate the chosen format and support Chocoberry’s café and dessert offering.

Training and support

Chocoberry provides comprehensive initial training covering food preparation, customer service, health and safety, stock management and daily operations. Franchisees receive support with site selection, recruitment, staff training and store launches. Ongoing assistance includes operational guidance, quality control, marketing campaigns, business development, refresher training and access to EPOS, stock management and reporting systems.

Operational requirements

Chocoberry operates an owner-operated franchise model, requiring franchisees to be fully involved in the business, particularly during the initial stages. A typical café requires between six and ten staff members, depending on the location and operational needs. Standard opening hours are approximately 9am to 11pm. Franchisees are responsible for overseeing daily operations, managing their teams, maintaining brand standards and delivering excellent customer service.

Experience required

Chocoberry seeks motivated, hands-on franchisees with a passion for hospitality and customer service. Previous hospitality or business experience is preferred but not essential, as comprehensive training and support are provided. Ideal candidates demonstrate strong leadership, communication and financial awareness, with the ability to manage and motivate a team. Franchisees should be commercially minded, committed to brand standards and ambitious to grow their business.
