About Sole Luna Pizza
Sole Luna Pizza was founded by Daniel Krzysztof, worked in one of the best pizzerias in Rome while living in Italy, and wife Amira in 2013. “We took the step after working in the best pizzerias in Italy and thinking England could do with some traditional Neapolitan thin-crust pizza,” said Daniel. “For us, it’s about heritage - a hot wood-fired oven and the best Italian ingredients. From the tomatoes of Mount Vesuvius to the Fiore di latte mozzarella that we use, we aim to put the heart and soul of Italy into every pizza!” Each 10/12” pizza is hand-thrown and cooked at 450 degrees in its 100% natural wood ovens to achieve a smoky char, crisp crust and topping-filled centre. Based in Didcot and operating as a mobile van business, it has regular spots in locations such as Swindon and Harwell.
