Family-owned north east coffee house franchise Siesta Coffee was established in 2016 in Newton Aycliffe and currently has six locations - in Newton Aycliffe, Peterlee, Skelmersdale, Thornaby, Jesmond and Catterick Garrison. The business is the retail arm of facilities management group EHL UK, led by father and son team Gary and Ryan Stainsby. In March 2026, Siesta Coffee signed with consultants whichfranchise and said it is seeking “experienced multi-unit operators and ambitious individuals” ahead of expansion across the UK.
