Big John’s began in Erdington, Birmingham, in 1993, when brothers Johngir and Babar Saddiq opened a neighbourhood fish and chip shop. Built around quality, affordability and customer service, the business became known for its 99p meal deals and expanded across the Midlands.

Trading as “Your Neighbourhood Takeaway”, Big John’s serves a varied halal menu of fish and chips, pizzas, burgers, kebabs, wraps and chicken. Customers can order through takeaway, dine-in, drive-through and delivery channels. The brand also pioneered an early UK drive-through fish and chip restaurant in Chelmsley Wood.
