Panku, which is Japanese for punk, was started in 2019 by friends Neil Nugent and Andy Upton and brings together the flavours of Pan-Asian food from Japan, Korea and Thailand. In 2020, it began a partnership with Asda, initially trialled in 20 stores before being rolled out further.
