About Go Greek

Go Greek Yogurt was established in Los Angeles in 2012 by Tanja Murgel-Subotic, her husband David Subotic and business partner Jonathan Williams. Inspired by traditional Greek food culture, the brand specialises in authentic Greek yoghurt, freshly prepared bowls, frozen yoghurt, smoothies and savoury options. Its menu combines breakfast, lunch, snacks and desserts, with an emphasis on natural ingredients and Mediterranean-inspired eating.

The business has expanded across the United States and Middle East and entered the UK in July 2026 with a café on South Molton Street in London’s Mayfair. Its flexible concept accommodates kiosks, high-street cafés and individual yoghurt machines within existing venues. The UK operates under an established master franchise agreement and is not seeking additional franchise partners. Further London locations are being considered, with three UK sites targeted by the end of 2027.

What's expected of a franchisee

Property requirements

Go Greek Yogurt offers flexible premises formats ranging from approximately 250 sq ft kiosks to 1,000 sq ft cafés. Its first UK site occupies around 620 sq ft on South Molton Street in Mayfair. Locations may include high streets, shopping centres, airports, stadiums and existing quick-service restaurants. Premises require appropriate refrigeration, yoghurt preparation facilities, frozen yoghurt machines, storage and customer service areas. Seating can be incorporated where space permits.

Training and support

Go Greek Yogurt promotes an international franchise programme designed to help partners establish and operate its fresh and frozen yoghurt concept. Franchisees must maintain product quality, preparation standards and a consistent customer experience across different formats. The business provides franchise information and disclosure documents on request.

Operational requirements

Operators manage the preparation and presentation of fresh and frozen Greek yoghurt, smoothies, bowls and savoury menu items. Responsibilities include food hygiene, allergen management, refrigeration, stock control, staffing and customer service. Stores may combine made-to-order counters with self-service frozen yoghurt machines. Franchisees must maintain approved product standards, manage local marketing and adapt staffing and service arrangements to their location and trading hours.

Experience required

Go Greek Yogurt seeks qualified international franchise candidates committed to delivering premium products and customer experiences. Applicants should demonstrate commercial capability, operational discipline and the resources needed to establish and manage their chosen format. Hospitality, retail or multi-unit management experience would be beneficial, although no mandatory qualifications have been published. The UK territory is already held by a master franchisee and is not open to further applicants.
