What's expected of a franchisee

Property requirements

Chilli Flames offers three principal restaurant formats. Delivery-only premises require approximately 700-900 sq ft and have no customer seating. Express restaurants require 1,000-1,900 sq ft with around 25-30 seats, while flagship restaurants need at least 2,000 sq ft and accommodate 60 or more customers. The franchisor works with specialist design partners to manage store design and fit-out. Specific frontage, parking, extraction and lease requirements are not disclosed.

Training and support

Chilli Flames provides a comprehensive training programme, full store operations manual and staff handbook. A specialist franchise team supports development, property acquisition, operations and training, while design partners coordinate restaurant fit-out. Franchisees receive marketing assistance before, during and after opening, including launch plans, social media, website presence, advertising and in-store materials. Ongoing operational guidance is available throughout the franchise relationship.

Experience required

No previous restaurant or franchise experience is required to become a Chilli Flames franchisee. The company provides training, operational guidance and support with store development and marketing. Applicants should demonstrate entrepreneurial motivation, a commitment to customer service and the ability to manage staff and business performance. Prospective franchisees must also have sufficient financial resources, including a minimum personal investment of £50,000, to establish their chosen restaurant format.
