About Bunify

A Halal fast-food brand specialising in loaded brioche rolls, American-inspired comfort food and sides, Bunify was founded in London in 2021 by Zaid Mahdi. By the summer of 2026, it had grown to four physical locations across the capital, plus several dark kitchens. Its first franchise location opened in Edgware Road in 2025.

In May 2026, Bunify was one of several brands working with franchise consultant Paolo Peretti to come under the new multi-brand franchise group PBV - led by Peretti, Tikka Nation founder Vikas Narula and finance specialist Bilal Zaman. Peretti said: “Our target is to have 30 franchise sites across multiple brands within the next five years, and we believe we have a clear, structured roadmap to get there. The latest new openings in London are part of a much bigger plan to roll out more sites across the country.” Narula added: “PBV Group has been created with a singular focus - to become one of the UK’s leading multi-brand franchise groups in the QSR space.”

In July 2026, PBV bought a controlling stake in Bunify, which is set to open two more franchise locations and one more company store by the end of the year, as well as growing to ten dark kitchens. Peretti said: “Bunify is not just your average fast-food joint. It is a Halal comfort food business, and its brioche buns can be loaded with anything from wings, burgers, fries to hot dogs and chicken. The business is aimed primarily at Generation Z and does well operating a delivery service, currently serving a significant portion of London. The food is freshly prepared in its central kitchen and is all created by its skilled team of chefs.”
